The new 3D surf movie, The Ultimate Wave Tahiti 3D, starring Kelly Slater, is supposedly not just another surf movie but is science filled ! Oh yes... an nerd/surf worshipper's dream.
An article for the Orange County Register says that the "Animation shows how the islands were formed and how waves get their size and shape, while underwater cameras explore the coral reef ecosystem and the ocean life. It also gives a brief look into Tahitian culture and traditions of the natives."
